At Project Play, our mission is to bring play back into the lives of our children through a small scale children's museum. We will provide a safe, clean, aesthetically pleasing space where children are encouraged to problem-solve, explore, and learn about the world around them.

Alera earned her BS from Baylor University and went on to teach as an elementary educator in both the public and private school settings. She was named Teacher of the Year in 2015 and was awarded numerous education awards throughout her eight years in the classroom. Alera earned her BS from Baylor University and went on to teach as an elementary educator in both the public and private school settings. She was named Teacher of the Year in 2015 and was awarded numerous education awards throughout her eight years in the classroom. As a business owner, she currently owns Storybook Collective an educational resource for children to develop reading skills through play. Using the subscription model to promote her small business, she is now expanding her love for education with her entrepreneurial spirit to birth Project Play.
